Optimising Brain Health & Performance
Do you feel like your brain doesn’t work the way it used to?
Do you feel like you’re stuck in a fog and it’s becoming more difficult to remember past events? Have you recently received a diagnosis and want to know what more you can do in addition to the medication your doctors have offered you?
Do you have a relative with a brain condition and you’d like to learn how to protect your own brain for the future?
Your loved one or family member acting strangely without knowing it themselves? This change in behaviour and routine activity can indicate that your brain needs some polishing and stimulation. We are dedicated to optimising and biohacking your brain’s performance to unlock its full potential. Our comprehensive services encompass a range of neurological conditions, providing support for individuals seeking to enhance their cognitive abilities and improve overall brain health.
In 2016, our founder, Jo Grabyn, qualified with L.A. based neurologist Dr Dale Bredesen, author of The End of Alzheimer’s and developer of the ReCODE (Reversing Cognitive Decline) and MEND (Metabolic Enhancement in NeuroDegenerative Disease).
Bounce Matters is one of the first places in Australia to use this unique method to tackle, reverse and prevent the onset of early Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
Using an integrative, functional approach, we can assist you with:
Optimising and biohacking your brain’s performance
Delay and prevention of genetically linked neurological conditions (e.g. Alzheimer’s)
SCI (subjective cognitive decline) and brain fog
MCI (mild to moderate cognitive decline)
Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease
Parkinson’s disease
Multiple Sclerosis
PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)
Mild TBI (traumatic brain injury)
Concussion repair and recovery
Post-Concussion Syndrome
CIRS (Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome or Mould Illness)
Our team of experts can help you in various ways to reconnect those broken networks and restore optimal brain function. However, it is crucial for patients to follow the basic path of a healthy lifestyle to support the healing process.
Engaging in brain stimulating activities such as puzzles, reading, and learning new skills can help maintain cognitive function and preserve brain connections. Our team can provide guidance and personalised strategies to incorporate these activities into your daily routine.
In addition to diagnostic testing, diet and nutritional supplementation, lifestyle habit changes, sleep improvement, exercise, meditation and brain training, we also utilise additional therapies such as:
Vielight
By wearing a VieLight headset for 20 minutes 3-6 times per week, you can benefit from its preventative and brain-enhancing effects such as reduced inflammation, improved blood flow, and optimised brain performance. This treatment benefits patients with dementia, Parkinson’s and TBI, and biohacks executive performance.
Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (mHBOT)
A safe, non-invasive specialised therapy that uses an increase in atmospheric pressure to increase oxygen supply into blood cells, blood plasma, cerebral-spinal fluid and all tissues and organs of the body. This treatment benefits ALL brain injuries and neurodegenerative conditions.
Infra-red Sauna Therapy
An infra-red sauna uses light to create heat and is used to support treatment in early-onset Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and CIRS (Mould Illness).
Explore our comprehensive approach to brain health. We focus on evidence-based practices that support mental clarity, memory enhancement, stress reduction, and overall cognitive resilience.
Is the process the same for every condition?
No. The initial consultation structure remains the same, but each patient is different. We choose testing, supplements and additional treatment options in consultation with each patient (and their family, where relevant).
What is a cognoscopy and do you perform them?
You might have heard about cognoscopy from Dr Bredesen’s book, The End of Alzheimer’s. A cognoscopy is not one single test but the range of testing chosen to cover all areas of a patient’s health profile which helps us choose treatments appropriately. We’ve been putting these together for patients since 2016.
Can I do hyperbaric oxygen therapy for a brain issue without the other consulting you offer?
Yes, you are very welcome to simply do your hyperbaric healing with us, without any other service. This is particularly common in Multiple Sclerosis, CIRS (Mould Illness) and concussion recovery.
Do I have to include all the other therapies – hyperbaric oxygen, infra-red sauna, VieLight, etc, to get results?
Absolutely not. We have, over time, added these additional therapies to our clinic as the research behind each grew, and the feedback from patients became more and more positive. In the past, we only used diet, nutritional supplementation, lifestyle habits, sleep improvement, exercise, meditation and brain training with astonishing results. These other therapies are simply additional ways to optimise brain healing and function.
